The Department of Chemistry at Mississippi State University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of assistant or associate professor. One position is targeted at organic chemistry and the other is open to all areas of chemistry. These are 9-month appointments with a start date of August 16, 2025. Successful applicants will have a Ph.D. in chemistry or related field, a demonstrated record of research accomplishments, and a strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Consideration of applications will begin on November 1, 2024, and will continue until the positions are filled. Applicants must also submit a personal data information form, a CV, a summary of research plans (3 pages), a statement of teaching interests (1 page), and three letters of recommendation to http://www.jobs.msstate.edu/.
