The University of Arkansas at Little Rock, School of Physical Sciences, Chemistry Program (https://ualr.edu/chemistry/)  invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Inorganic Chemistry (R0062936) to start on August 16, 2025. The Chemistry Program is dedicated to high quality education and research at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Inorganic Chemistry faculty will primarily teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Inorganic chemistry, including special topics and laboratory sessions. The candidate is expected to establish and maintain a strong externally funded research program either in experimental or theoretical areas in the Inorganic field. The Chemistry Program has NMR, EPR, GC/MS, TGA/DSC, HPLC and other standard spectroscopic instrumentation. Additional campus assets include spectroscopy and microscopy instrumentation in the Center of Integrative Nanotechnology Sciences (http://ualr.edu/nanotechnology/). Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry (Preferably in Inorganic Chemistry). All Ph.D. requirements must be completed before employment commences.

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with postdoctoral research experience and a good track record of research activities e.g., mentoring, publications and grants will be given preference. Experience in teaching Inorganic Chemistry and laboratory at the undergraduate level and graduate level is preferred
