Job Overview
As a member of the chemistry leadership team, you will independently lead small molecule drug discovery projects for oncology and autoimmune diseases to meet key discovery milestones.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership
Lead discovery projects, formulate medicinal chemistry strategies, engage in compound design and SAR analysis.
2. Team Management
Manage and motivate a medicinal chemistry team, provide professional guidance to team members, help resolve technical difficulty.
3. Cross-function collaboration
Closely work with computational chemistry, biology, pharmacology and DMPK functional groups.
Job Requirements
1. PhD degree in Organic Chemistry with over seven years of working experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
2. An expert in medicinal chemistry, ligand- and structure-based drug design.
3. Proven track record of leading discovery programs to the clinical stage.
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
